Annual Produce Show 2015

SKELTON AND BROTTON PARISH COUNCIL PRODUCE SHOW

Skelton and Brotton Parish Council Produce Show, held recently in Skelton Civic Hall, continues to be a popular event.  Exhibitors brought over 500 entries across this year.

Yet again there was an increase in entries across all classes, but significantly in the Flower section.

Refreshments were provided by volunteers from Brotton Improvement Group to help raise funds to enhance the area.

Councillor Angus McDonald, Chair of Skelton and Brotton Parish Council welcomed the Mayor, Councillor Mrs Brenda Forster and her escort, Mr Al Mills to the Show and thanked them for attending.  He explained that this year there was a new Trophy - the Sam Leach Memorial Plate, to honour Sam who was a Show Judge and heavily involved in the Show.  Sam sadly died suddenly last year.
