Skelton and Brotton Parish Council once again hosted a Chair’s Charity Ukulele Concert on Saturday 19 October 2019, at Skelton Civic Hall.
Ukulele band the Eskuleles played to a packed house. Feedback was really positive with people really enjoying the evening. Raffle prizes were kindly donated by local businesses and individuals.
A total of £478.98 was raised, with all proceeds for the evening being shared between the Chair’s two chosen charities Zoe’s Place and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and the band’s chosen charity, the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Cllr Angus McDonald, Chair of Skelton and Brotton Parish Council thanked the band for coming to play at the event, the local business for their raffle donations, Parish Council staff for organising and working at the event and fellow Councillors and everyone attending for their support.
