On Sunday 2 December 2018 Skelton and Brotton Parish Council held their free Children’s Christmas Party at Skelton Civic Hall.

As usual, this very well attended by local children and their parents. Once again, tickets allocated to Skelton residents ran out at lunchtime on the day they became available, with Brotton’s allocation going soon after.

Jenny, Michelle and Hannah from The Play Factory, Skelton kindly offered their services for free, providing face painting and ballon modelling for children attending the event.

Qualified Children’s Fitness Instructor Karen Winspear kept the children entertained with dancing and games.

Each child received a gift from Father Christmas, generously donated by Co-op Skelton.

Free refreshments were served by Parish Council Members and Staff. Some attendees kindly gave donations to the Chair’s Charities. £91.52 was raised for the The Great North Air Ambulance and Tees Valley Wildlife Trust.
